New Delhi:

In Rakul Preet Singh, we’ve got the perfect balance of a foodie and a superstar. The Bollywood actress is busy shooting for her upcoming film Chhatriwali in Lucknow. And, Rakul isn’t going to miss out on the local food while she is in the city. What’s on her plate this time? In a recent social media update, the actress, who is known for her fitness, is seen posing with a wide grin and a plate of indulgent “Katori chaat” also known as “basket chaat”. So it looks like we aren’t the only ones opting for a cheat day. Rakul wrote in the caption, “Lucknow mei basket chaat nahi khaaya, toh kya khaaya (If you don’t indulge in the basket chaat in Lucknow, you haven’t really indulged)!”

But don’t you chide her for deviating from her healthy diet. Rakul Preet Singh tells us that her dietician Munmun Ganeriwal agrees to small treats once in a while. Rakul wrote, “I believe we all need some treat meals once in a while and Munmun Ganeriwal agrees too.” Rakul added some tips from her dietician, “She says, just eat your chaat at the right time, between 1 pm to 4 pm. Not for dinner, guys! And not more than once a week!”

Rakul Preet Singh ended her note, saying: “I feel so content and you can clearly see the excitement on my face. So when are you treating yourself?” Rakul’s dietician Munmun Ganeriwal commented, “So happy to see you enjoy your meal.”

It looks like Rakul Preet Singh is having a gala time on the sets of Chhatriwali. Only two days ago, she posted her first look from the film. In one photo, we see her dressed in formals but can see only half of her face. She is also seen holding a clapboard designed to look like a pack of condoms. In the next slide, she poses in a yellow churidar. Rakul captioned it, “Bin mausam barsaat kabhi bhi ho sakti hai… Apni chhatri taiyaar rakhiye (Unforeseen things may happen anytime. So keep your umbrellas ready)! Presenting the first look of Chhatriwali.”

Here’s the first look from Chhatriwali:

Chhatriwali is produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies. In addition to Chhatriwali, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in Doctor G, which also features Ayushmann Khurrana.
