Kurt Angle sends a beautiful message to Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega is recognized as one of the best performers of the modern era. Although he has never set foot in WWE, the Canadian superstar was able to showcase his exceptional talent and make himself known around the world. Kenny is best known for wrestling in New Japan Pro Wrestling between 2013 and 2019, a time frame during which he won every possible and imaginable belt.

In the summer of 2016, he also won the federation’s main tournament, the ‘G1 Climax’, making him the first and only non-Japanese wrestler to achieve this. On February 7, 2019, his adventure in the newborn All Elite Wrestling began.

During the latest edition of his now-famous podcast, WWE legend Kurt Angle had beautiful words for Omega. According to numerous experts and insiders, Winnipeg’s talent is the biggest superstar ever to have played in WWE.

Kurt Angle praises Kenny Omega

“Kenny Omega is a very kind man and a phenomenal performer. What he has been able to accomplish in the professional wrestling business over the past decade between Japan and the US cannot be described in words,” explained Kurt Angle, whose career ended at WrestleMania 35.

“There is no doubt that Omega is the most talented superstar to ever set foot in WWE. I believe this detail is destined to go down in history. He has made a lot of people passionate about wrestling with his exploits in Japan and in AEW.

I haven’t seen a champion like that for a long time. Maybe Rey Mysterio has a talent comparable to him ”- he added. Omega was forced to leave the AEW title in the hands of Hangman Page at Full Gear. The former NJPW star will have to stay away from the ring for a long time to undergo a series of surgeries.

“Wrestlers have to learn to manage these difficulties. You have to take into account that you will have injuries and that you will go under the knife several times” – Kurt said. Kenny Omega then added that during his stay with WWE, he wasn’t able to give everything to his promotion.

“When I came back from my first and only excursion at WWE, you know, I realized that I had no real character. And whatever they came with for me, I never felt like I could relate to it. I never felt like I could act out that persona to its best form.

So I thought well rather than create something created for me, I’m going to give it one last go. One last kick of the can to see if just being me.” said Kenny Omega.
