Jason Baker on Creative Feedom Given to Bray Wyatt

Jason Baker was on Gimme A Hull Yeah! where he spoke about how much creative freedom Bray Wyatt got during his time with the WWE. Jason worked as an SFX makeup artist and has created various masks and props for various artists, movies, and professional wrestlers.

Jason was the one that helped Bray Wyatt create his horrifying mask.

Jason States that Bray Wyatt Was Given a Lot Of Freedom

According to Jason, Bray Wyatt was given a lot of freedom with Jason. This is a rare thing in the WWE as most wrestlers are not given creative freedom at all.

“I will say this, WWE did give Bray and I a lot of creative freedom,” he admitted. “But also, a lot of times, everything had to get approved. There was little tweaks and changes and things like that and at the end of the day, whoever is splitting the bill is the one who gets the say”.

Jason then spoke about what is his priority when making masks for WWE. He wants to make sure that all masks that he gives to professional wrestlers are safe. The mask should give the wrestlers enough visibility, so that they don’t injure themselves while performing.

“If we are working for WWE and we are creating a mask for them, it’s like safety first. The big thing we always have to do is make sure that it’s comfortable, it’s durable and they can see out of it,” Baker said.

“If they can’t see, they’re not going to know, they could potentially miss a move or potentially do something and it could end very, very badly. Either hurting themselves or hurting someone else or possibly even worse.

Those guys are professionals at what they do and they do some very high-risk maneuvers. I would hate to be that person that was like, ‘oh yeah, I couldn’t see what I was doing and now I’m paralyzed because you guys didn’t do your jobs right.’” Bray Wyatt is also one of the wrestlers that were released this year by the WWE.

However, Bray was also one of the most popular WWE wrestlers at the time he was released. In fact, many people believe that releasing him was a horrible decision by the WWE, as he is currently a free agent. He is also very popular, which means he can join AEW and help them challenge the WWE.
