Vince Russo comments on the new film with The Undertaker

‘Escape The Undertaker’ is the new interactive horror film (released on Netflix) starring New Day members and the legendary ‘Deadman’ The film chronicles the adventures of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as they hunt Taker’s urn inside his haunted mansion.

There is obviously no shortage of twists and supernatural elements. Although the length of the film is officially 31 minutes, viewers can choose to lengthen it by selecting options that delay the New Day’s journey to the urn.

During the latest edition of ‘Writing with Russo’ on Sportskeeda, former WWE and WCW writer Vince Russo reviewed this production highlighting its positive and negative sides.

The Undertaker’s had a very successful career

“When I watched the interactive film starring the members of New Day and The Undertaker, I immediately got a very clear idea.

If a 12-year-old boy sees it, he is absolutely perfect. It is a product intended 100% for children. Halloween is approaching, so it’s ideal for kids aged 12 to 14. If this was their target audience from the start, then I can say that they have done an excellent job.

At the same time, I can assure you that it is not for adults” – commented Vince Russo. Vince praised the New Day performance: “I have to admit that those guys could really make a movie together. They were incredibly good and their acting skills surprised me.

Maybe I was biased due to the bad writing of WWE writers, who often failed to exploit the capabilities of the New Day. It wouldn’t hurt to see them all act together in a comedy that has nothing to do with the WWE universe.

Although they are very close to each other, it is noted that they have different personalities. It would be an excellent idea to highlight these differences.” In a recent interview with ‘ET Online’, The Undertaker reiterated that he will not be fighting again.

“My days in the ring are now over. I will miss wrestling, but now a new chapter in my life has begun”. When asked about his 9-year-old daughter Kaia possibly joining WWE, The Undertaker said he doesn’t mind if that’s what she truly wants one day.

“I tell you what, I don’t know, I mean, if it’s in her heart and that’s what she really truly wants to do one day, I’ll do my best to coach her up and obviously her mom will too, but yeah,” said Undertaker. “We’ll see what happens. We have a long way to go before actually worrying about that.”
