*Spoiler* Roman Reigns’ next challenger revealed

For the past year and a half, WWE has been literally dominated by the Tribal Chief aka Roman Reigns. The current WWE Universal Champion returned to the company in 2020 at SummerSlam and since that day has never been pinned, has beaten all his opponents and has become the main wrestler of the company.

In the upcoming Pay-Per-View of Crown Jewel to be held in Saudi Arabia, Roman Reigns will face The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar in a dream match. There is great anticipation and curiosity from the WWE Universe for how this match will end, but in the meantime there are the first rumors about what could happen after this Pay per View.

The latest on Roman Reigns’ challenger

Last week on WWE SmackDown, Brock Lesnar made his presence known by brutally attacking Roman Reigns and The Usos. He also confirmed that he would be a free agent – thanks to his ‘good friend’ Paul Heyman.

This led to a backstage segment in which Reigns made Heyman cry and instructed him to get his cousins drafted to the Blue brand. Although Paul Heyman will be relieved to see that Jey and Jimmy Uso will be on the Friday night show, he might remember Reigns’ words from last week.

In the course of the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, colleague Dave Meltzer talked about the Tribal Chief’s next opponent, who will likely be the newly arrived athlete from Raw Drew McIntyre. He’s back from a tough time on the red show and Vince McMahon’s company decided Drew was ready for a change.

Here’s the point according to Meltzer: “Drew McIntyre has been moved during the Draft to SmackDown because Roman Reigns has a desperate face of level opponents and on the card by now in the blue show there is no one like him anymore.

In addition, Drew has returned from a series of defeats on Monday Night Raw and presumably will soon be defeated by Big E as well, then he will become Roman Reigns’ biggest opponent, probably around the month of December.”

Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns competed in the last Survivor Series in a champion vs champion match. In the end it was Reigns who took the victory but the two showed a great understanding in the ring and WWE fans have long awaited a storyline between the two wrestlers. With his arrival on the blue show there is no other time like this for their feud.
