There is very little time left, now less than 72 hours and the long-awaited WWE Pay per View of Crown Jewel 2021 will be held, an event that Vince McMahon’s company will hold in Saudi Arabia. For the occasion, the WWE has organized several leading matches, top challenges for both the male and female roster with the aim of cheering the Saudi public to the maximum.
Matches such as the rematch between Bobby Lashley and Bill Goldberg or the WWE Championship challenge between Big E and Drew McIntyre are expected. The most anticipated match is undoubtedly the WWE Universal Championship match between WWE Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar.
This meeting is undoubtedly the most important one between two superstars who have made and are making WWE history.
How will the match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns end?
The company strongly believes in this storyline and according to what Dave Meltzer said in the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Newsletter this match could see other interesting episodes and therefore should not stop at Crown Jewel.
In particular, the well-known colleague spoke like this: “Crown Jewel is built around the match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, a much-anticipated match that should only be the first of a long series. The ending, for this reason, could be surprising, there are ways that open to a rematch and WWE does not seem at all willing to permanently end this feud.”
Crucial within this meeting will be the role of Paul Heyman, WWE mad Genius. He was in the past the manager of Brock Lesnar while now he is the adviser of Roman Reigns and various rumors suggest that he may be the decisive figure to decide the match.
Other rumors claim that a rematch between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns may already be in the next WWE Tribute to the Troops and that the feud between the two wrestlers is still destined to last a long time. The report also stated that there is a chance that WWE will decide to have Brock Lesnar beat Roman Reigns at the show in Saudi Arabia.
A win for Lesnar would mean the two men will face each other again down the road. ”Lesnar could win and then lose later, but that would mean Lesnar would face the WWE champion at Survivor Series. That is doable, but Lesnar also has limited dates,” said Meltzer. It is unlikely that Roman Reigns will lose the Universal Championship at this point.
