Becky Lynch wants the Crown Jewel main event

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Becky Lynch talked about her Triple Threat Match against Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks, where she will have to defend her SmackDown champion title at Crown Jewel in front of the Saudi Arabian crowd.

“It would be very powerful if we headline the show. This is the biggest match you can have in pro-wrestling right now, regardless of genre.” Speaking of the possibility of being in the main event, Becky thinks it could be really important for the girls who look to the three of them as an example to follow: “I think the most important thing, in a place like Saudi Arabia, is to show women what is possible.

Maybe pro-wrestling catches a young girl’s attention. If we can have this effect on even one person, it is enormous. Maybe it is not now, but for the future, you can dream and reach. Now more than ever, this is so important.

” She herself has had some examples of strong women who pushed her to do what she loved most, to fight: “Even when I think about myself, I remember how I felt growing up when I saw Lita join WWE. She was a tough guy, and he could hang out with the boys.

When she saw her, she proved to me that she doesn’t have to be blonde and look like a Barbie to make it through wrestling. This meant a lot to me. Obviously, I am not a girl raised in Saudi Arabia, I had a very different upbringing.

But this is an opportunity to show them what girls can do, and it’s very powerful.”

Becky Lynch is one of the stars of Crown Jewel

The women of WWE have already made history in the Middle East and now have a free reign to wrestle as part of Crown Jewel tomorrow evening.

There are two women’s matches set to take place as part of Crown Jewel this year, with the SmackDown Women’s Championship on the line as Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks battle it out in Saudi Arabia for the first time.

Natalya, who has already had some experience in Saudi Arabia, gave Bianca a precious piece of advice: “She told me above all that it is an incredible opportunity, to immerse myself in every moment, to know how important it is.

It’s about having this match, it’s about representation and making a real change, not just inside the ring, but outside the ring as well.” Becky Lynch won the SmackDown Women’s Championship when she made her return to WWE at SummerSlam in August.

Lynch was able to defeat Bianca Belair in a matter of seconds to become the Champion and has since been able to become the biggest star on SmackDown once again.
