Becky Lynch took a break from the world of wrestling in May 2020, when she announced, during an episode of Raw, that she was expecting her first daughter, along with partner Seth Rollins, who’s now her husband. For this reason, she had to leave her Raw champion belt to Asuka, winner of the Money in the Bank 2020, to be able to temporarily retire while waiting to be able to fight again.
The baby, named Roux, was born on December 4, 2020, and Becky returned to the ring in August 2021, when she took over from Sasha Banks in Summerslam, becoming SmackDown champion after defeating Bianca Belair. At this point, with the Irishman who is very much loved and respected by everyone, it is difficult to say who will be able to remove the title from her life, but perhaps she has an answer.
Becky Lynch is afraid of losing her title
Lacey Evans reacted to Becky Lynch’s latest post featuring her daughter Roux. Last night, the current champion of the blue brand wanted to give us a moment of sweetness through a photo posted on her social network, where she announced who could actually steal her belt.
“The only young lady who has a chance to take the title away from me.” This is what she wrote to describe the photo of little Roux crouched over her suitcase while she has her tiny hand resting on her mom’s SmackDown women’s champion belt.
It is not for nothing to underestimate the fact that one day the little girl can become passionate about wrestling and follow in the footsteps of her parents, who are two great champions and two respectable professionals.
If we think about it, Roux already has a victory at Wrestlemania too, because yes, when Becky Lynch defeated Shayna Baszler at Wrestlemania 36, she was already pregnant, so technically we have the youngest champion in WWE history on our hands.
With the hope that Roux can eventually follow his heart and take the path of professional wrestling, in the meantime we enjoy through this photo and the words of Becky, a little champion who embraces the life and career of her parents, in a completely way adorable.
The two women clashed at Money In The Bank 2019. Lynch defeated Evans via submission to retain her title. The two feuded over the next two months and battled on two more pay-per-views. Their Stomping Ground match ended with Lynch winning again. At Extreme Rules 2019, Lynch and Seth Rollins defeated Evans and Baron Corbin to retain their respective belts.
