- Mira shared a beautiful pic of herself on Monday
- She can be seen dressed in a white tank top and a pink shrug
- Her caption is the motivation mantra you need to have on Mondays
Mondays are tough on most of us. After spending the weekend in relaxed mode, to be able to switch back to active and productive mode can be quite the Herculean task for some of us. But helping us get past those dreary Monday blues is none other than actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput. The stunning Mira Rajput shared a picture of herself on the photo-sharing app dressed in a white tank top with a pink floral jacket draped casually on top. Mira Rajput certainly knows how to lift spirits as she flashes her warm sunshine smile in the photo. Her caption is the motivation mantra you need to have in your life to help you get through all Mondays. She wrote, “You just have to make Monday happen. It is going to happen.” She also posted a starry-eyed emoticon and the hashtag ‘fetch’ in the caption.
The 26-year-old is the mother of two gorgeous kids and often shares pictures and videos of her little ones on social media. Recently, Mira Rajput posted a picture of herself with a caption that will resonate with people from all walks of life. She wrote, “I have a 5-year-old and I’m still learning to be the grown-up here.” Relatable much?
Aside from her relatable captions, Mira Rajput also posts several videos promoting body positivity, breaking down fitness lessons as well as sharing tips on skincare.
Giving us a sneak peek of her morning rituals, Mira Rajput posted an Instagram Reels, listing out the three things she does regularly after waking up. In the caption she wrote, “ Three things I do after I wake up (After I’ve snoozed 7 times of course) 1. 12 rounds of Anulom Vilom, 2. Posture correction exercises, 3. Drink raisin and saffron water.” Mira Rajput also listed out the benefits of each of the morning rituals she follows in the caption.

Mira Rajput married actor Shahid Kapoor in 2015. The couple has two children together Misha and Zain.
Se-jin, a young woman who lives in an old apartment in a Seoul suburb, amuses herself by observing the windows of the apartments on the other side. One day, she notices that the lights of some of these apartments are turned off at the very same time. She begins to suspect that this pattern is somehow related to a series of mysterious deaths in the neighborhood. She becomes more and more deeply involved as she attempts to solve the mystery.
Directed by Byeong-ki Ahn, the director of Phone and the Bunshinsaba trilogy, the 2006 thriller Apt. delivers familiar horrors with themes of bullying, trauma and loneliness. It moves in similar melancholy waters as Ahn’s other works but offers a semi original concept and a mystery that will keep you interested until the end.
Sen-ji (So-Young Ko) is a busy professional with little time for a social life. She often amuses herself by spying on the neighbours living in the high-rise opposite to hers. When people in the building start dying in apparent yet unexplained suicides, Sen-ji can’t help to notice that these deaths seems to coincide with a bizarre power cut that happens in certain apartments every night at exactly 9.56. Meanwhile she has befriended wheelchair bound Yu-yeon (Jang Hie-jin), who is cared for by her neighbours. While seemingly a nice gesture, Sen-ji soon comes to learn that the friendly neighbours might not be the good Samaritans they pretend to be and Yu-yeon is facing much bigger horrors than simply being stuck in a wheelchair. Who or what is behind all the deaths and is Jen-ji’s new friend somehow connected to them? Together with her neighbour Jung-hong (Ha-seon Park), Jen-ji is determined to get in the bottom of this mystery.
Apt. is a very typical film from Ahn. Those familiar with his other works will know that many of them deal with similar issues to that raised in Apt., always with a somewhat melancholy undertone running through them. Loneliness and abuse are once again in the centre of the mystery with equally lonely characters trying to get in the bottom of it. Jen-ji might be a high flying professional but has no partner or even any real friends. Likewise, Jung-hong may be still living with her parents, but as they too are busy with their work, she finds herself all alone more often than not. It’s not surprising that it is these two are the ones that feel connection to Yu-yeon and her lonesome existence.
The mystery around Yu-yeon opens slowly with a few red herrings thrown into the mix, keeping the viewer guessing for a good while. Right at the point where you might start thinking that the whole thing is just one incoherent mess, the story pulls all the strings together and reveals it’s secrets. While it is nothing earth shatteringly surprising, it is still nicely dark and makes sticking with the film worthwhile. Scare scenes are nothing overly special but executed in a decent manner. The entity haunting these apartments is somewhat cliché but still suitably menacing and definitely not something anyone would want lurking around their building corridors. There are no great jump scares to speak of, but the atmosphere is solidly gloomy, which suits the story perfectly well.
Acting is decent all around but sadly most of the characters are left underdeveloped. Not that a 90-minute ghost mystery has that much room for profound character studies, but little more background on the key players would have not hurt. As it stands, the only thing we really know about them is that they are all lonely in their own way. Sure, it fits with the theme of the film but does sadly leave Jen-ji, Jung-hong and Yu-Yeong just as one-dimensional paper dolls that are simply there to help the story to move along.
Apt. is nothing fresh or innovative in the world of South-Korean horror. It does very much follow along the same lines as any other Korean horror mystery; a ghostly mystery with a horrifically dark crime behind it. It is definitely something we have all seen a million times before. Still, I cannot completely condemn it. While predictable with its scares and perhaps somewhat even with the mystery, it still managed to keep me entertained for an hour and a half. If you are looking for something truly unique in the world of Korean horror, Apt. is definitely not it, but if you simply want a paint-by-numbers ghost mystery that requires no brain power what so ever, it is a worthwhile film to consider.
- Milind posted a video with Ankita on Sunday
- The couple can be seen doing Surya Namaskar in the clip
- “I have been doing 30 Surya namaskars every morning,” wrote Milind
Actor Milind Soman has been a fitness icon for decades now. The model has been always vocal about his belief in a simple and healthy lifestyle and Yoga tops the list of his healthy practices. So it is no surprise that in his recent post, Milind Soman is seen performing Surya Namaskars with his wife Ankita Konwar. The couple is seen performing Yoga in a lush green area in the clip. Sharing the video, the 55-year-old wrote in the caption, “Green is my favourite colour. We are trying to sync our different interpretations of Surya Namaskars but I have been doing 30 Surya Namaskars every morning which takes around 7min and feels fantastic.”
The actor further jotted down the benefits of this Yoga routine. Milind Soman explained that Surya Namaskars were the “best, low intensity, simple movement to improve and maintain basic strength, joint mobility, balance and focus.” Replying to the post, Ankita said, “Everything is so much more fun with you.” Cute, isn’t it?
In a previous post, Milind Soman emphasized the importance of staying consistent with exercising. The veteran model is seen running in the image. In the post, Milind wrote about finding time to work out despite a night-time shoot. He wrote, “Running in the rain to a shoot that starts at 7 PM and ends at 7 AM.” He added, “Sleeping a few hours during the day… that’s what I’ve been doing the whole week. People complain that night shifts make it difficult to live a healthy life, and it’s so true, but if I have decided to find those few minutes for myself, then I must make every effort.”
Milind Soman’s wife Ankita Konwar is just as enthusiastic about fitness as her husband. The duo is often seen enjoying their time together by doing some productive workouts. In one of the posts shared by the star, the couple is seen running. An excerpt of his Instagram caption reads, “Happiness is doing the things you love, together. Well, that’s for me, and happiness is a lot of things to a lot of people.”
Milind Soman rose to fame after featuring in Alisha Chinai’s music video Made In India. He featured in films like 16 December, Bheja Fry, Jodi Breakers, and Bajirao Mastani among others.
Stephen Amell is no stranger to the ring. He’s also no stranger to playing engaging characters as seen in Arrow. When you put the two together, well, we hope we have a hit. The new Starz drama Heels hopes to find out as it has Amell along with fellow Canadian actor Alexander Ludwig gearing up for a stint as wrestlers for an up and coming promotion as Jack and Ace Spade respectively.
When it comes to wrestling, Amell certainly has the experience at the biggest level of them all to back it up: The WWE. In 2015 Amell teamed up with Neville against King Barrett and Cody Rhodes, now of AEW, alter ego Stardust. The intense rivalry which featured mind games, attacks, and ambushes, the typical wrestling hat trick culminated in a match at Summerslam on August 23,2015. Obviously Amell, a special guest of WWE at the time, went on to have his hand raised in victory alongside his partner Neville. Amell has also gone on to be in Ring of Honor , All In, and most recently he joined Cody Rhodes as a team mate of the Nightmare Family in 2020 with All Elite Wrestling. You can see Amell in WWE in the link below:
Ludwig, however doesn’t have the experience in the ring to back it up, but no one can doubt his talents in the arena of being a performer. Billed as actor and singer, he is no stranger to action from films such as The Hunger Games, and Bad Boys for Life, his appearance in Heels will fit naturally with his accrued talent. The Canadian duo won’t be alone in the upcoming drama, premiering on August 15th however. James Harrison of NFL fame will be thrown into the mix playing what will likely be an Undertaker type character in Apocalypse. No, we aren’t talking the size changing blue villain from X-Men, but we are talking a massive size of a man portraying what looks in the trailer to be a massive threat. Also joining the fray will be Kelli Bergland billed as Crystal who is seen in the background of the trailer with Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig) as his manager and possible love interest. The wife of Jack Spade (Amell) is played by Alison Luff. Most wrestling fans however may notice one big name jump out at them: CM Punk. Punk whose real name is Philip Brooks, had a bad break up with WWE but is perhaps most famous for his famous “pipe bomb” speech which seemed like it was happening in real time but was later revealed to be a shoot, or a work. View it here and see how convincing it was at the time:
Heels also stars Chris Bauer, Allen Maldonado, Mary McCormack, David James Elliott, Bonnie Somerville and more as they play out the script put out for them in small town Georgia to bring their characters to life on Saturday nights to the chants and boos of the audience. Heelsis sure to deliver an action packed vibe for fans of Amell, Ludwing, Harrison, and Punk and the fun starts August 15th.
One of the most anticipated matches in SummerSlam’s WWE Pay per View was undoubtedly the battle between WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and the challenger, the Hall of Famer Goldberg of the Vince McMahon’s company. The wrestler saw The All Mighty dominate the match and injure his opponent as well as take down Goldberg’s son, Gage after he tried to stop him.
The match ended with the referee sanctioning the WWE Champion’s victory with Goldberg no longer able to fight. On the microphones of CarCast, Bill Goldberg talked about that match, returning among other things to his physical condition: “I’m still very stunned and confused after what happened.
Plus I’m still continually lame. “The wrestler still appeared quite confused about what happened to SummerSlam and there is a curiosity to understand if and how he will continue the feud against the WWE Champion.
The latest news on Goldberg
Just recently Goldberg had talked about the possibility that his son Gage could fight in a wrestling ring and on this he commented: “I don’t know what I would do about it, I am his father and I have to support him in his choices but in this case, I really don’t know what to answer.
If he makes a decision, we parents must help him 100% of our possibilities, but personally, I don’t know how much he wants to pursue this path.” In the past, Goldberg had stated that he did not like this possibility very much: “It was never my goal to involve my family in my work, I was afraid of repercussions or whatever.
Everyone knows that my family is one of the reasons that pushed me to return to the ring again.” Latest rumors and some experts believe it is very likely that in October, during the tour in Saudi Arabia, there will be a rematch valid for the WWE Championship between Bobby Lashley and Bill Goldberg.
In an interview with CarCast, Goldberg revealed what happened in the ring between him and Gage after Lashley’s brutal attack. Check out the full comments below (credit to Fightful for the transcription): “I didn’t see sh*t.
I was choking him,” Goldberg said. “He goes, ‘Dad, when you came over and grabbed me, you were choking me.’ I was like, ‘I saw you smiling man, I had to get the smile off.’ The kid is impervious to pressure.
He did four hours of homework before he went out and jumped in the ring with a 290-pound monster who was beating his dad up. It didn’t bother him one bit. Wanda [Goldberg’s wife] was in the back. If she was anywhere near the ring… she would have had to jump in too.”

Monette, a recently separated travelling book salesman tells his grim story to both a priest and a hitchhiker, looking for absolution.
More short films, kiddies! Today we have MUTE, written and directed by Kyle Dunbar, based on a short story by Stephen King. The short story was first published in Playboy Magazine in 2007 and included in Mr. King’s collection JUST AFTER SUNSET in 2008.
I love Stephen King stories, although I fully admit some of his works do not translate well to film. Sometimes it is context that is lost, and sometimes its choices made by the filmmaker that do not tell the tale completely. I have also seen translations of these stories taken so far from the original that they are almost unrecognizable.
In this case, however, I feel the filmmaker did an excellent job of telling the tale as close to the source material as was possible. There are a few small changes, of course, but not enough to take it out of its intended context.
Our story opens with Monette (Andrew Bee) meeting with a shockingly informal Priest (Christian Tribuzio) for an impromptu confessional at the padre’s home. Monette has had an experience he cannot explain nor fully understand and he hopes he may gain insight and forgiveness from the Good Father.
It all begins with Monette, a traveling book salesman, picking up a deaf/mute hitchhiker (Alexadre Stoupenkov). Monette is in the early days of a very ugly divorce, and he talks out loud to the passenger about everything, even as he knows he can’t hear him.
I don’t want to give anything away, and if you know the original short story, then you already know. So I’m gonna skip over all that and talk about the cast and the production overall.
Andrew Bee is an accomplished actor with many credits to his name, including a small role in SUICIDE SQUAD (2016, the Jared Leto one, not the James Gunn one). His performance in this film is almost deadpan, yet he delivers the lines with an unexplainable gravitas. I hung on every word, even though I knew where it was going. He was fascinating to watch.
Christian Tribuzio gives a wonderful performance as the unassuming priest, late for a lunch appointment, making time for the Lord’s work and trying to be as open minded to the tale as possible. He reminded me very much of the “hip cool” youth pastors I recall from my time in church programs as a kid.
The story is told in a series of flashbacks as Monette tells the priest about it. We get to meet the unnamed hitcher, played by Alexadre Stoupenkov. While this man’s credits may not be as long as the others, his performance is all body language and facial expressions. That is not an easy task. He comes across as sympathetic and harmless, almost confused for much of the film. That is by design and it is simply perfect.
The production quality is high, the lighting is wonderful all around. In my opinion, this is one of the more faithful Stephen King interpretations I’ve seen in a long time. Definitely worth a watch
- Alaya shared a video from her vanity van on Monday
- “We tried doing a trendy challenge and failed,” she wrote
- “But 100 marks for trying,” she hilariously added
